Halloween you get candy and dress up and when you get candy you have to say trick or treat. I dressed up like Ben 10 Alien Force. I went trick or treating with my cousin Seth and my sister Emily (she’s 7). We got a lot of candy. Seth’s basket almost broke. He had to get a new one. My favorite candy is gumdrops. On Halloween, Emily’s broom fell apart.

I started swimming lessons this week. I do this kick that looks like a frog. I do another kick called flutter kick and scissor kick. I can pick up a stick in the big pool. I jump right in and swim down to get the stick. I jump off the high board and the little board. And my dad’s amazed at how I can do it. I learned how to swim last year. Now I can swim pretty good.

My grandpa helps with harvest. He grew up on the farm. He rode the combine to help harvest. And I rode with Seth’s grandpa Richard. My sister, she rode on the tractor. The end.

Tonight I rode in the combine again with Uncle Travis. Wheat harvest is over now. We cut all of the wheat. I had a good time. I hope you like my video.

Yesterday, I rode a combine with my cousin Seth. His grandpa was driving. Seth was sitting in the seat. I had to sit on the floor. I climbed on the combine. Only four or five steps.

He pushed the button to stop the picker when we dumped. He pushed a button to bring the arm out. Then he pushed another button and then it dumped wheat seeds into the tractor’s bin.

When it turns from summer he’s going to get the tractor and plant the wheat seeds. Then next summer it will grow and they will cut more wheat.

Hi, I’m Tom. I love farming. Last Christmas I got a new John Deere Tractor. I am starting Kindergarten this fall.

I am really excited because the wheat harvest has started. I love to ride on combines. I hope my uncle will take me for a ride on the combine soon!
